Who We Are
The Sea Life Group is adding value globally and engaging locally across business, research and government sectors. We tackle issues related to economic development, climate resilience, the blue economy and much more.
Our services include public affairs, strategic communications and grant and project management. The Sea Life Group works with a range of clients from international finance institutions to bivalve and sea kelp industries.
In addition to its Managing Director, clients benefit from an extensive network of industry experts in design, social media and video to maximize their visibility and impact across markets.
Intentionally a homophone, The Sea Life Group brings together a passion for ocean-based solutions with a desire to experience life a bit differently too.
About the Managing Director
Elizabeth Nicoletti Sheehy is bridging global issues of finance and policy with local issues of coastal resilience. As an oyster farmer with Stonington Farms Shellfish, Elizabeth offers hands-on experience to the blue economy and nature-positive investments, while concurrently achieving certification from the Oyster Master Guild.
Channeling her interest in the environment through communications, she has held roles such as public affairs advisor, media manager and executive speechwriter on global stages and with Tier I media. Elizabeth brings two decades of corporate communications experience — most recently working at Bloomberg LP, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and IDB Invest.
She co-authored the book Under a Lucky Star, about one of the world’s first-ever microfinance cooperative, and was published in El Cronista, Gestión and America Economia. She holds a master’s degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a bachelor’s from Georgetown University.
Outside of work, she enjoys open water swimming and fishing with family and friends.
